Knee Bandage
We have been asked what a knee bandage is and how it can be effectively used a great many times as well as being requested to recommend the most appropriate bandages for addressing the symptoms of knee pain. This is particularly true of those concerned people who are recovering from an assortment of injuries to the knees and are undergoing a course of rehabilitation under the guidance of their physiotherapist.
At its most fundamental and basic a knee bandage wrap provides powerful compression to the injured body part, this works deep within the knees to control swelling and ease pain. Such bandages however do not provide complete support as they are purposely designed to act as a reminder that you have an injury, hopefully reminding you not to over exercise.
Forms of Knee Bandage Supports and Wraps
Primarily a knee bandage will come in either a firm wrap form, try the LP: Versatile Knee Wrap LP631 or a tubular bandage form, try the Tubular Bandage: Large Ankles/Medium Knees & Small Thighs (E)Â and can be particularly effective at relieving pain in the knees when used together with ice packs to reduce the swelling immediately after an injury has been sustained.
