A seat wedge is used on old or uncomfortable seating when a back pain sufferer has poor posture and would benefit from restoring the natural 'S' shape curvature of the spine.
Seat Wedges come in a number of differently angled elevations (8 degree wedge-these are memory foam filled, 11 degree wedge or slimline wedge for car seats), with or without a coccyx cut-out.
Coccyx cut out wedges relieve pressure on the base of the spine, helping sufferers of lower back pain.
