This versatile, highly effective, value for money, re-usable gelpack can be used as both a heat pack or an ice pack, to reduce swelling, relax tight joints, ease arthritic pain or relieve pain from headaches.

For LP cold therapy the gelpack is placed in a freezer for two and a half hours before being applied to the injured part of the body in an LP wrap, to prevent frostbite. It stays flexible at subfreezing temperatures so that it can conform to the shape of the body when applied.

For LP heat therapy the gelpack is microwaved in water for approximately two minutes before being applied to the injured part of the body in an LP wrap, to prevent burns.
