It has a strap which offers additional protection and support where it is needed. Instructions for use:

• Slide your arm into support until the re-enforcement tape on the outside is right on your elbow.
• Then tighten the Velcro on the bicep first and then the tricep until comfortable
• Then wrap the long strap around your tricep until comfortable and fasten Velcro.
